About Paw
We believe that the animals who share our lives deserve the best we can give them. Something well considered, bought with a clear conscience. That is exactly why Paw exists.
How Paw came about
The idea for Paw came to us through Oscar, Colin's dog. Anyone who has a dog knows the feeling: you look for a good bed, a leash, a bowl, and end up caught between cheap mass-produced goods and overpriced one-offs, without really finding the right thing. With Oscar we saw every day what does an animal good and what does not.
We heard the same from our close circle, where many share their lives with a cat. Different animals, the same problems. Those conversations quickly became more than talk: we wanted to create a place where there is the right thing for dogs and cats alike, in a quality you can rely on. That place is what we are building with Paw.
What we look for
We do not carry an endless range, but a selection. Every brand that belongs to Paw is assessed by the same standards: premium materials, clean workmanship, a design that fits into your home. We focus on European manufacturers, many of them from Germany. For us, premium means that there is a reason behind every product.
Where we are heading
Over time, Paw should become the place you think of first when a dog or a cat is part of your life. Today we are starting with accessories for everyday life. More will follow in time, from grooming to food and genuine knowledge about living together with animals. We are taking this step by step and only adding what meets our standards.
Who is behind Paw
Behind Paw are the two of us, Colin (right) and David (left). We met a few years ago and it quickly became clear that more connects us than a passion for animals: the same view of entrepreneurship and the ambition to do things properly. Since then we have planned and founded our own projects together, gaining experience and learning what matters. After four years of preparation, in which we questioned and developed our plans again and again, Paw was the result.
With every product we ask ourselves one question first: would we give it to Oscar, or to the dogs and cats around us, with a clear conscience? Only when the answer is yes does it find its place at Paw. That way you shop with us without having to think about origin or workmanship, and without wondering whether a product is worth its price. Because we look for longevity when making our selection, new purchases are also kept to a minimum. This is where sustainability begins for us. We give you that certainty with every piece sold under our name.
