The leather comes from German pasture-raised cattle and is reinforced with a nylon core to achieve particularly high tear resistance. Fully dyed leather ensures colour fastness, and close-set stitching secures stability in everyday use. The fittings and hardware are made from chrome-plated, nickel-free iron, and the snap hooks offer a breaking load of over one hundred and fifty or two hundred and thirty kilograms, depending on the width. The leash is made in Germany in saddle-making quality using elaborate handcraft.

For care, it is sufficient to clean the surface with a damp cloth and then dry it with a towel. Afterwards, the leash should be left to air-dry completely and stored in a dry place. Additional greasing is not required according to the manufacturer, and heavy soiling should be removed promptly to protect the material.
