The cushion core consists of an orthopedic latex cushion that is dust-mite-resistant and remains washable. The inner cover is made from one hundred percent cotton and fully encloses the core. Depending on the version, velvet or plush fleece is available as the outer cover: velvet is cozy, durable and easy to clean, plush fleece is cozy and warming. A five-year warranty is provided on the cushion filling, and material samples are available on request.

Hair is best removed from the surface with the upholstery brush of a vacuum cleaner. The covers are machine-washable at thirty degrees and tumble-dryer safe. The cushion and filling can also be washed at thirty degrees to keep the sleeping place hygienically clean.
