The dog bed is manufactured in Germany using tested materials. The decorative cover is made from a high-quality polyester upholstery fabric that combines a soft touch with over thirty-six thousand abrasion cycles, high light and rub fastness, and low pilling. The inner cover is also made from polyester and encloses the filling of polyurethane sticks and 3D-crimped siliconized hollow fiber used for the ECO Comfort mattress. The Ortho mattress itself features a sandwich construction of specialized polyurethane foams, in which a pressure-relieving top layer is firmly bonded to a supportive comfort core so that no depressions form. In addition, a 100% waterproof incontinence cover with polyurethane coating and CoolPlus function is used, which quickly absorbs and locks in liquids and, thanks to its breathability, ensures a balanced sleeping climate. All materials used are Oeko-Tex Standard certified, partly LGA tested and suitable for allergy sufferers.

The decorative cover can be removed via a concealed internal zipper and machine washed at 30 °C. The insert with ECO Comfort filling is washable up to 60 °C and remains dimensionally stable without sagging even after repeated cleaning. The waterproof incontinence cover can also be washed at 60 °C and tumble-dried, ensuring a high hygiene standard in cases of incontinence, wet fur or after surgery. For daily care, wiping the cover with a soft cloth and mild soapy solution is often sufficient. After washing, all textiles should be completely dry before the dog bed is used again.
