Uno is made in Germany and uses an upholstery fabric of one hundred percent polyester with a textured look. The cover is soft to the touch, achieves over fifty-five thousand rub cycles and shows very good values for light and rub fastness as well as low pilling, which makes it particularly durable and scratch-resistant. The inner cover and filling are made of polyester; the filling uses 3D crimped siliconized hollow fibers for breathability, insulation and a lastingly fluffy structure. The OrthoMattress is constructed as a sandwich core of polyurethane special foams, in which a pressure-relieving upper layer is firmly bonded to a supportive comfort core, thus preventing sagging. A climate-regulating mattress cover made of functional fiber additionally ensures a balanced sleeping climate. All materials are certified to the Oeko-Tex standard and suitable for allergy sufferers.

The decorative cover can be removed via a concealed internal zipper and machine washed at 40 °C. The insert is washable up to 60 °C and retains its shape even after repeated cleaning. For daily care, vacuuming the surface and spot-cleaning with a soft cloth and mild soapy solution is usually sufficient. After each wash, both cover and insert should be completely dry before the dog bed is used again.
