The cover is made from a durable fabric with recycled polyester, whose production reduces water and energy consumption and lowers the CO₂ footprint. The filling uses recycled plastic fibres so that a larger number of PET bottles can be reused per bed, combined with supportive memory foam cushions for orthopedic support. This creates a lying surface that yields softly while at the same time relieving the joints. The bed is manufactured in Portugal with a focus on efficient, environmentally conscious processes.

Cover and inserts are easy to remove and can be machine washed at thirty degrees. This keeps the resting place hygienic and easy to clean even with frequent use. After washing, all textiles should be left to air-dry completely before the bed is used again.
