The bed is crafted using traditional handwork with premium cowhide or buffalo leather sourced from Italy. The characteristic square quilting is done by hand and gives the bed its classic character. Inside is a solid beech wood frame wrapped with high-quality upholstery foam, providing the bed with its lasting shape. The resting surface consists of an orthopedic, viscoelastic mattress with memory-foam properties. The stained beech base forms a stable finish and underlines the artisan quality. The surface of the bed can be wiped clean of dirt with a damp cloth. The cover is not removable and should therefore not be machine-cleaned. To preserve the natural character of the leather, the bed should not be exposed to direct sunlight or strong heat. Slight color variations in the material are a natural property of leather.
