Pet Empire was founded by Oliwia Panikowska, a trained interior designer who brought together her love of animals and of beautiful interiors in her own brand. Inspired by the classic Chesterfield sofa, it impresses with its elaborate button tufting featuring more than 100 hand-set buttons worked into the sturdy wooden frame. This deep buttoning technique is one of the most demanding forms of workmanship in upholstery and can only be carried out by experienced craftspeople. The wooden frames are kiln-dried so that they last a dog's lifetime.

Pet Empire makes no compromises on materials either. The cover fabrics used are tested to 75,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test and thus meet the quality level known from premium home furniture and heavily used public spaces. The fabrics are pet-friendly, durable and can easily be cleaned with a damp cloth, a real advantage in everyday life with a dog.
