The sofa is handcrafted in a European family-run workshop. Each sofa is individually made and inspected. The wooden frame ensures stability. The upholstery fabrics are pet-friendly and designed for everyday use. They have been tested to 75,000 Martindale cycles. The covers are removable and feature zippers. The inner cushions are made of orthopedic foam and have an additional zippered fabric cover to protect them from dirt. The cushions are attached to the frame with Velcro straps to prevent slipping.

The covers can be washed separately at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Hand washing is possible. Bleaching and dry cleaning are not recommended. Tumble drying is only permitted on a low heat setting. The inner cushions and orthopedic foam are not washable and must not be wet cleaned, ironed, or tumble dried. A damp cloth is sufficient for cleaning the surfaces. Pet hair can be removed with an upholstery brush.
