Vito is made in Germany and combines a hard-wearing upholstery fabric with advanced mattress technology. The decorative cover consists of 100% polyester with a coarse weave, feels soft to the touch and achieves over 100,000 abrasion cycles with excellent light and rub fastness. Inner cover and filling are made from polyester; the filling uses 3D-crimped siliconized hollow fibers for breathability, insulation and long-lasting loft. The Ortho mattress has a sandwich core of specialized polyurethane foam, in which a pressure-relieving top layer is firmly bonded to a supportive comfort core. A climate-regulating mattress cover made from functional fibers supports a balanced sleeping climate. All materials are certified to common standards and suitable for allergy sufferers.

The decorative cover can be removed via a concealed internal zipper and machine washed at 40 °C. The insert is washable up to 60 °C and retains its shape and loft even after repeated cleaning. For everyday care, vacuuming the surface and spot-cleaning with a soft cloth and mild soapy solution is usually sufficient. After each wash, both cover and insert should be completely dry before the dog bed is put back into use.
